Description:

The Villa is located on Damavand mountain area, at 60 km from Tehran. Alizadeh villa is a weekend residence to get away from the traffic and ordinary confusion of Tehran. It consists of three floors: the basement used as technical rooms, games room and parking space, the ground floor for the living area and the first floor used as the sleeping area.

The particularity of this project was to use a fundamental principle of Iranian architecture in a modern key, using a central garden at the villa both to have more light in the interior spaces and to have a winter garden. On the second floor we used a 5 meter overhang for the main master room and therefore to satisfy all the needs of the client. We have preferred to use wood in some part of the building as a principal natural material to warm the environment and breathe a mountain climate inside the villa
